Branches are the crucial point of all banks because all their operations are carried through branches. The structure of the branch may be as under :
This is the typical structure of a small bank branch. In large branches, the structure will undergo slight changes as shown below
(Here, OF= Officer CL= Clerk SS= Sub-Staff)
From the structure we can see how the functional relationship works in a branch. The structure also explains the reporting authority for each cadre of the employees. It indicates the communication flow in the branch with well-defined accountability on the part of the employees’ roles.
"Good article to limelight the areas we need to improve on to be second to none."
- Sourabh Rai, 4th June 2009, Thursday"ARE YOU ARE A CHINESE? INDIA IS NO1 COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. WE WILL DEFEAT CHINA VERY SOON. WRITE GOOD THINGS ABOUT INDIA YOU CHINESE FELLOW..."
- Tarun Adarsh, 7th June 2009, Sunday"Good article, but the main thing is the line where the writer is writing that many Indians will see him as a traitor, very correct, super correct, when ever you try to be honest about this country, they say u are a traitor, but this is fact, known to every body, we are far far behind china and will be so for coming many decades. China is a face smashing reply to those indians, specially the ones who always blamed population for poverty and underdevelopment of india, also they have communist govt. that also is considered worse than indian democracy, so happens in china, more population, worse form of govt. that india, still they are ahead of us. - sandeep, 8th June 2009, Monday"For comparative analysis, the other critical factors such as the time of opening up of economy by both the countries, foreign relations policy, poliitical stability, fair & prudential trade practices etc., need to be compared. To quote an instance, an Article in to-days "Hindu" explains how China provided military as well as financial aid to Srilanka (which resulted in genocide) with a sheer selfishness to usurp military (navy) power in Indian Ocean, which was commented by our Home Minister as "fishing in troubled waters". - RAGHVENDRA, 9th June 2009, Tuesday"The article correctly highlights the gap between the two emerging economies. There is no point getting emotional like Mr Tarun Adarsh. The fact remains that we are far behind China. However, all is not lost yet, with a stable government at centre, and constructive opposition, we can do what the chinese have done. So long as the Karunanidhis, Mulayams, Mayavatis and Mamatas are kept at bay, we have some chance. Even in growth rate, we are much less that China and we must remember that Chinese growth rate of 8% is on a much larger base. To achieve the same level of incremental output , we should grow at 36 % . Can we grow at 36 % every year? And you find the Chinese domination even in Sports which speaks volumes of the committment of the Government there. We must also not lose sight of the fact that development in a loose democratic setup like India, is more difficult since it will make it that much difficult for the policy makers to accomodate all sections of the society. If you want to please all, then forget growth. M.Subramaniam "
